CDC Director Walensky: "While we believe that fully vaccinated people can travel at low risk to themselves, CDC is not recommending travel at this time due to the rising number of cases."

Excuse us while we contradict ourselves and move these goalposts.

In other breaking news....

Water is wet
Fire is hot

How long have the studies shown that air travel has/is safe?

The CDC was using the airlines are the scapegoat for the events happening AFTER people get off the planes, ie Spring Break.

How mad would you be if they said they recommended you don't travel?

They just publicly gave the go ahead to resume air travel.

Can you not read? They are still recommending against any unessential air travel

I was able to read this. I had to sound it out though...

"The announcement lifting the agency’s guidance that all Americans should avoid non-essential travel should assist the U.S. travel industry which is still significantly struggling since the Covid-19 crisis began in early 2020. The new CDC guidance specifically greenlights vaccinated grandparents getting on airplanes to see grandchildren."

Pretty sure grandparents visiting they kids is "non essential."
