Indeed..
Maybe it’s more safe beyond the cockpit door. Definitely passed between crew members after less than 3 hours of exposure.

Yet another sign that humanity is basically doomed:

Today in the crew van there were just five of us: two pilots, two FAs and the driver.

Now I happen to personally know that all four crewmembers, myself included, are fully vaccinated. And we know the driver, we stay at this hotel multiple times per month. He's fully vaccinated as well.

We were all masked...yet I got scolded for taking my mask off briefly to have a sip of coffee. (I was sitting in the rearmost row of seats, a good 10-15 feet behind the driver.) At 0530, telling me I can't have my coffee is a risky proposition.

I politely said, "Sorry, sure...but..ummm...we're all fully vaccinated in this van, right? As in, more than two weeks since your second shot. So we're good, yes?" Driver replies, "Yes, but I could still catch it from you." To be polite, of course, I gave up on the idea of hot coffee that morning (it's a long van ride to the airport and no crew lounge where I could reheat it.)

But still. If the driver's viewpoint is an opinion shared by more than a few vaccinated people, we're all screwed. It'll be masks everywhere until the end of time.

This is the mindset that scares the bejeebus out of me, and judging by the amount of dummies wearing their cloth virtue signal we might be in for a long haul.
The only thing that truly might put an end to it is the MSM finding something else to report on for a while until the average ninny halfway forgets about it.

The CDC just released that you have like a 0.008% chance of catching COVID after being fully vaccinated and a 0.00056% chance of ending up in the hospital if you do. Let the idiots keep wearing them, I don’t care what they think or “feel”. Basically you have a better chance of winning the lottery than getting the vid.

And many of you thought it was just fiction.

The analysis was statistical... it's not impossible to catch it in less than 54 hours. They have pretty much determined that you won't catch with it less than 15 minutes of close exposure (unless you're french kissing people). Anything longer than that depends on ventilation, which is why casual spreading outdoors is non-existent.

Also pilots usually don't wear masks, we touch common surfaces, and our ventilation may have different flow paths than the cabin. I know people who have caught it in the cockpit, so yes that's a thing.

That line of thinking is prevalent among a certain direction politically leaning group in society. And as WutKnob said, there are more of them then there are of us. Gives you hope for the future of humanity, doesn't it?

Just because you are the loudest and most annoying doesn’t mean you are in the majority.

Yeah? How did the “silent majority” thing turn out?
