Texas joins FL in banning vaccine passports, other state legislators in talks to follow suit... I dont think we will be seeing mandated vaccine passports in the US. Maybe parts of the US such as NY/NJ/CA they will be the loners and then they will have so much pressure to reverse course in 6 months. State Funding will also be stopped to any private company/entity mandating vaccine passports. There is too much pushback and this narrative will be not talked about in a month or two and die down.

I really don’t understand the privacy issue. If a business or country requires it then all it would amount to is a less than one minute interaction of stranger knowing whether or not you have elected to receive a shot that would likely prevent you from being a liability for them. Everyone here has made it very clear they believe in private business and a governments right to decide what they want to do, and I haven’t seen anyone online or off who isn’t vocal about their stance and choice on this vaccination.
Edit: just read OPs article. I especially stand by my point of the information is to be scrapped after the pandemic and if it also allows for recovered, or tested individuals. That seems like it would cover most bases and those who elect not to receive a vaccine still have the potential to travel.

Prone to abuse, misuse, and likely to be obsoleted by readily available vaccinations before it even gets implemented. That’s not paranoia, just facing reality...
