Thanks! Good to know. I’d like to avoid getting them vaccinated, but I don’t think the risk is so great that I would cancel a trip to Germany in lieu of a jab.

We’ll be flying DL. I’m hoping the US lifts mask mandates on public transport by 7/4… Biden’s data-driven Independence Day gift to us. Hopefully the rest of the world follows as vaccine distribution ramps up.

Is a negative covid test prior to entry not an option for your kids? As crew members it is and only certain cities require it.

They got a chickenpox vaccine? We just got the chickenpox and gained immunity back in elementary school.

That’s how I remembered it! There’s a vaccine for it now?! Who knew?

For me it would, and it would for a lot of people regardless of the demographics (you implied up there that it has full approval for any demographic which it does not). But everyone has different reasons which should be respected and not shamed or bullied (not saying you are, but have you seen some others on here and in society at large, ffs). When you see the CDC commercials that imply to teenagers if their parents don’t get the the jab that they don’t love love them, well that is enough for anyone not already on board to have their hair on the back of their neck stand up!

That said when a vaccine is granted a full biologics license and is no longer under an emergency use authorization, yes I will get it.

I got all the childhood diseases except for whooping cough. I even got mumps, twice. I gave it to myself, on the other side, before I had developed immunity. That was less than a week from onset of one to onset on the other side. I have had to fill out sworn affidavits for some travel. No big deal.

Would you get your child a chicken pox vaccine every year?

You have an idea that chicken pox vaccine is to be given every year. Where do you get that incorrect information?
