That’s the honest answer. You had inadequate knowledge to have an opinion then and you have inadequate knowledge to have an opinion now - but nonetheless opine anyway.

I don’t know how the woman came to that decision either, but it is not an inherently irrational decision. Being on the frontline for this, she may have ALREADY HAD COVID, and now recovered and reviewing the literature, realizes that she now has a more complete and long lasting immunity than you or I have from the two shots we both took. Its not a one-size-fits-all world. The UK vaccine policy body just turned down making a recommendation for routine COVID immunizations for those under 15 because their risk of death due to COVID simply didn’t justify it, particularly with the risk of myocarditis in young males from the Pfizer vaccine.

it isn’t a one size fits all world. We need to be a little more nuanced than knuckle dragging proVax and knuckle dragging antiVax.

You missed the point and just want to argue. I was 15. I wanted the job and a “nurse” at the retirement home told me they needed to stick me with something if I wanted the job. I’m sure my parents must’ve signed something to allow it but I don’t remember but if I didn’t want to get poked i could’ve worked at the grocery store instead. I chose to get the needle bc a hot girl I liked worked at the retirement home already. Made it to second base w her eventually so I viewed it as worth it and still do.

I wasn’t criticizing your nurse friend for quitting. I asked why? You said she’s your friend so I assumed you might know why. To me this job has a lot more value than to quit over a vaccine millions of people have had. I was interested in her rationale because I like to hear another point of view. I’m all for people not getting a shot if they don’t want to but to put your entire livelihood on the line takes balls and that’s someone’s point of view I’d like to hear.

I never claimed to know the woman. Reread this whole conversation.

Our Most Reliable Pandemic Number Is Losing Meaning

A new study suggests that almost half of those hospitalized with COVID-19 have mild or asymptomatic cases.

And many more were admitted for something entirely OTHER than the vid from the same article. And that is from the Atlantic magazine too (hint they are not a conservative publication). Cracks are forming in the "narrative" of lies.

So there's that

Oh yeah, they're pulling deaths from before the full jab timeframe and counting those as unjabbed deaths today.

This is just twisted behavior. If they have to lie like this, then you gotta wonder why??

No, it's pretty civil here. No warnings assessed as of yet and we like to keep it that way.

So I can see now it was another user that I was asking the question to. Yet as usual you came out and responded to something that wasn’t even directed to you. I didn’t notice that because you were speaking as if I spoke to you first. You don’t understand how quoting someone works or you just want to hear yourself speak or you just like to argue. Probably all of the above.

And none of this response addresses in any way that you opined about something you were ignorant about (and were indeed ignorant about your own”TB shot” which you used in that opinion). Yet the fact remains, that a nurse more educated in medicine and science than you and certainly far more experienced in healthcare who has been on the frontline of the COVID fight since inception, made a different decision than you would have made and you had to denigrate them.

This is NOT a knuckle dragging proVax vs knuckle dragging antiVax fight here, it is a real world issue with NUANCE. People of intelligence and integrity can reasonably DISAGREE on the best course of action. Two senior guys in the FDA just resigned because the White House was pushing them to approve boosters by September, and these were senior guys, not antivaxxers. Career guys at the FDA. Recently the British National Health Service vaccine advisory board refused to recommend COVID vaccination of kids, stating they were at such low risk from COVID even the minimum risk of adverse effects from vaccination. There is NOTHING about this situation that is cut and dried.

And now, instead of trying to understand, all you are doing is castigating me…

You don’t understand how quoting someone works or you just want to hear yourself speak or you just like to argue. Probably all of the above.
…rather than actually making an effort to understand the issue.

Well fine, I’ll leave you in your ignorance then as not worth my time.
