The longer this pandemic goes on the more i believe the universe would be better off if Covid really did wipe humanity from the earth. We’ve become too stupid to exist.

At current Covid death rates vs. current birth rates, I don't think anyone has to worry about humanity being wiped out. Or even a modest population decline.

That said, the Black Death was largely credited with freeing up wealth and shaking up social stratification that led to the Renaissance.

So what you’re saying is, if Democrats TRULY wanted redistribution of wealth we should just let covid run rampant. I’m good with that. Seems like a great middle ground.

Let's see they've violated the 1st Amendment when they shut down churches 9 months ago. That got argued in court and finally ruled on that, guess what, you can't shut down churches and services.

4th. Some are arguing right now that asking about your health status, regardless of the reason, is a violation specifically to this part:

"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated". Papers is being interpreted as your health records. Especially since obama made them go digital.

Oft overlooked is the 9th. This recent "decree" is treading on this:
"The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people."

Of course the 10th just got shat upon by the resident in chief on thursday:
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

Of course there is Article 1 Section 8 Clause 3 of the US Constitution. Requires Congress. EO's are no bueno. Here I think the Lopez and Sebelius rulings are going to be used to thump the administration.

The states' AG's and lawsuits are just being filed. This will be epic.

The usual suspects will hang their hats on the notion that only the GOVERNMENT can’t violate your Constitutional rights. Private entities can do it all day long. Of course, that is why this Administration is encouraging/bribing/coercing private entities to do so.

Vaccinated or not, I will not “show my papers” to access a venue or business and voluntarily spend money there. So far, we have cancelled a cruise, withdrawn our financial support and cancelled our tickets to our local performing arts center, and just yesterday disputed an Amex charge for a concert where, at the last minute, they will now demand papers WITHOUT offering refunds. This isn’t 1937 Berlin or a Moscow train station in 1979.

Any American with a shred of respect for the notion of personal liberty, especially those who have proclaimed “my body, my choice” for nearly 50 years should be protesting the concept of mandates and ESPECIALLY vaccine “passports.”
