Funny, they don't list an actual number of deaths for that age group.
Seems relevant, especially if you want to nail down a mortality by percentage, i.e., survivability.
Nor underlying conditions, which would add context.
Bonus points for what the "normal" pre-Covid causes of death were in 2019. (Deaths of Despair would be my guess for men in that target demographic..drugs, alcohol, poor health, suicide); Compare that with the covid deaths today.
It's fear porn.

Freakonomics tells us what we already knew. Our media is far more fear-mongering than even the BBC, France24 ... etc. CNN and the NYT's are the worst. If it bleeds it leads. The public overreacts, the politicians have to do something. The result is paranoia and lockdowns for over a year.
