OSHA to suspend enforcement of COVID-19 vx
https://www.azfamily.com/news/contin...8fcc97d8d.htmlPHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) -- The U.S. Labor Department's Occupational Safety and Health Administration has announced that it is suspending enforcement of the COVID-19 vaccine mandate for large employers.
CBS News reported Thursday that the announcement comes as the federal appeals court ordered the vaccine rule to stop temporarily because of possible statutory and constitutional issues.
On its website, OSHA said that the agency "has suspended activities related to the implementation and enforcement of the ETS pending future developments in the litigation." The requirement was supposed to be in effect on Jan. 4 for businesses with 100 or more employees. The website adds that OSHA "remains confident in its authority to protect workers in emergencies."
Earlier this month, Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich said his office would file a lawsuit to prevent the federal government from placing COVID-19 mandates, including mask-wearing and vaccine requirements.

Florida Gov DeSantis just signed a law that ANY business in the state that tries to 1)fire you; 2)place you on unpaid leave or 3) denies an legal applied for exemption is breaking state law and will be fined either 1)5,000 per occurrence under 100 employees or 2)50,000 per occurrence above 100 employees. All an employee has to do is submit a form to the office of the Florida AG. Oh yeah, as a business you get investigated as well until the outcome is determined by either 1) stopping the removal process of said employee or 2)The state fines you. Its a fairly well written law and closes all the biden loopholes they were attempting to leverage to force people to take the jab by unlawful coercion of losing employment.
HB1B is not as far as DeSantis wanted to go, he's looking now at the ability for employees to sue employers for adverse affects of corporate mandated medical procedures (regardless of what umbrella they are trying to hide under) - that is next on the table. Rumor has it will pass with no issues. Can't wait for that one. Huge win for the little guy/gal.
Today was a great day for freedom.
Florida has the 5th lowest corporate tax rate in the country. We have no income tax either. I'm pretty sure this isn't going to scare any corporations away. In fact, we'll probably bag a few more from the blue states up north.

BY FAR the more interesting development in the past 24 hours is the that FDA wants to wait until 2076 (55 YEARS!!!) before it discloses "all of the data and information it relied upon to license Pfizer's Covid-19 vaccine."
This is the information that the FDA used to certify the Pfizer vaccine under the EUA regulations. The FDA doesn't want to release the data under FOIA requests because it's just too darn time consuming.
But they'll produce 500 pages a month. With over a 1/3 of a million documents, this will take until 2076 to finish.
Copy of the complaint here:

My personal theory: the FDA pencil whipped everything Pfizer gave them in the rush to get the vaccine out; "We're all scientists, right? Why would they lie, or even just rush?" (read Empire of Blood to learn about how much you should trust the FDA after they let the Sacklers push synthetic opioids for decades with their approval, killing tens of thousands)
Pfizer is hugely immune to lawsuits that might arise from it's vaccine, due to the EUA granted them; it's not like a quickly granted FOIA release will matter much, even if some terrible errors are discovered.

I’m a fan on DeSantis but how juvenile. We already had a president that didn’t know how to act like a functioning adult and it was ultimately why he wasn’t re-elected. DeSantis better tread lightly with trumpish grandstanding if he plans to run. Be the grown up in the room Ron. Lead with policy not antics
