Irony so thick…

Personal opinion:
1. Anyone with a condition it at an age that puts them at high risk to a bad result from their first exposure to COVID is foolish to not get appropriately immunized.
2. Anybody who thought we were going to be able to wipe out COVID-19 or stop new variants from appearing through immunizations is just as foolish. That was NEVER going to happen.
in the history of the human race we have only wiped out one (1) virus pathogenic to humans, and that was smallpox. It’s live attenuated vaccine (vaccinia, from which the word vaccine is derived) literally reproduced itself, gave prolonged (and possibly lifetime) immunity with one inoculation, and had far less demanding logistical and refrigeration requirements than any of the COVID vaccines. The campaign to eradicate smallpox took 180 years.
