LAX cheap hotel

Anyone know of a cheap hotel for crew with shuttle to LAX? ATL has a few options like this but I'm unfamiliar with LAX.

LAX can be hit or miss. I suggest you go on Priceline and use one of their "express deals". You can usually get a nice hotel for $60-70 plus tax.

Naw, Compton's overrated since NWA made it famous. You gotta go to Inglewood.
Bulletproof vest optional, but highly recommended.:D

we used to go to Inglewood....because it was so much less violent than where we lived....

Anybody know how accurate this site is? Looks like most of the data is 2+ years old. Any recommendations on decent commuter hotels at ATL?

The old Hacienda on Sepulveda in El Segundo is now a Fairfield and an Aloft. Last time I checked, the rates were decent.

Ever think about a credit card that offers hotel points? SPG is the best right now. If you're not an AmEx fan, you can get a Marriott visa and transfer the points to stay at SPG hotels or stay at Marriotts.

As for me, I prefer to stay anywhere west of I-405. Call me paranoid, but I like the feeling of being able to walk around Century Blvd without people looking to up their socioeconomic status by using me as an piñata/ATM.
