I know that but there are not 36 gates in terminal 2&3 & the supposed 4 gates we are getting in the north of TBIT

We are moving to the North side of the airport, leaving T5 and T6 for T2 and T3. More real estate. North side start up is planned for May.
FWIW I have not heard 36 officially, but have heard from the CPO that we will have a lot more gates.

Does this mean I have to land on 24R from now on and hope I don't get runover on the taxiway by a Southwest airplane trying to shave 1 minute off their block time? Yikes.

No, it means if you're going south you still use the south complex.
Otherwise, keep a lookout for those "reverse yankees".
