Martin and DeRosa endorse Nestor and Rogers
I feel like our captain reps are out of touch. I found this statement difficult to believe:
"We have been reluctant to weigh in on the election for your new First Officers. However, last weeks’ email from us asking you to participate in this election has generated significant inquiries asking our opinion/preferences of the 4 candidates. In response, we are reaching out to all of you."
1. These guys aren't the least bit reluctant about sharing their opinions about who they want as FO reps. They were directly responsible for the FO recall and now they are supporting the man who is likely the most controversial FO rep from the TA1 debacle. They are entitled to their opinion and to express it, but stating "they are reluctant to weigh in" is disingenuous.
2. Significant inquiries regarding their opinion? Again, I don't buy it. A retarded monkey knew in advance who these guys support, they really received significant inquiries about their opinion? I guess it is possible but I find it unlikely.
By all means, these men have the right -- more than any of us who haven't served, to express who they wish to work with. I just find the associated alibis extremely distasteful. Make your endorsement, but don't act like you were dragged kicking and screaming to do so.
In regard to who they have chosen to support, well I know 2 captain reps that I will be voting against when the opportunity arises.
I preapologize for grammar/typos, I suck at iphone.

Nestor and Rogers get big Endorsement
Nestor and Rogers just got a big endorsement from the DeRosa and Martin, the C44 Chairman and Vice Chairman. Sam and Scott are experienced reps and very well respected in 44 for delivering big contracts like C2K and C2015. They know how important it is for reps to work together, not at cross purposes. They both want Nestor and Rogers elected. They obviously don't want a repeat of the Kerns/Johnson fiasco, where CK and JJ had to be recalled. DeRosa and Martin's endorsement makes this an easy vote for David Nestor and Dave Rogers.
