That's before marketing gets a hold of it and optimizes the equipment on a flight by flight basis. They do it pretty agressively even on identical seat ranges and different seat ranges make it even more whimsical. The goal for what you describe will eventually probably be a radically non commutable 3 day worth exactly 15:45 with under an hour credit and a 30 hour layover where you get in around midnight and leave at 4:30am on day 3.

With at least 4 hours of airport standby...

Maybe take over certain routes but I doubt they'll park the 319. They're newer than the 320's.

Sounds good to me. I like flying the 319s. I heard somewhere their CASM is very high though

about 13% higher than an MD88, but not as bad as the -700. The 737-700 and 319 are very high CASM but also tend to be (especially in the case of the -700) kind of special mission airplanes.

I have not heard any rumors, but it would not surprise me to see older 320's, 319's and 717's be replaced with not only the A220-300 but also to some extent with backfill from other jets which are replaced by 321's.

They used to only seat 126 before the interior conversions... at 132 they are much happier with the CASM.

Or according to graham retrofit the cockpits and keep the entire fleet and move towards a fleet of 350 and likely 450.

As to the 319s, they don’t have an average distance limit.

Can you expound on “average distance limit” for the ignorant among us?
