We don't have the highest power engines on the -100s. I don't know what motors we are getting on the 300s. The airplane seems thrust limited at altitude, so I'm not sure if that would have an impact on range or not.

Apparently the A220 has the lowest CASM of any aircraft at the company, so it makes economic sense even with the 100.

I can't see how that can be true vs the A321/757. Long narrow bodies beat everything, especially in the future with the A321neo, and the XLR if Delta gets those. The worst CASM is small RJ's and short Widebodies.

The 757 is a fairly high CASM aircraft, that's why the 737-900 and A321 exist so it's not the best comparison. The A220 apparently really is just that efficient anyway, and yes, including the A321 and 739. That may change with the NEO, but also remember the A220 was a clean sheet design for efficiency while the B737 is the same nose as a 707 and the A320 series has been around awhile as well.
