Thank you both. I had looked at the pay scales in the Delta profile and only saw 220. Will the 100 and 300 be different bid categories? Or will pilots fly both and get the appropriate pay rate for the hours on each?

We will fly both and get paid what you fly.

And...to piggy-back on what Jkurtfly said, we currently do that domestically with the A320 category (A321 pays more) and the B73N category (737-900 pays more).

Thinking of making the jump to 220A next year. How's the training? Are they still manually doing WDR entries? Where is the luggage stored and does it fit the standard luggage works tank bag? Thank ya much!

1. Excellent training department. Training is training in AQP world but the SLIs know their stuff and do a great job...and...the sims are are all new and fly like the jet because they both run on computers.

2. Yes...WDRs are "hand-jammed" as are position reports The electronic checklist offsets the hand-jamming so it is an "aviation wash." 😁

3. Capt puts his/her/their luggage behind the FO but closer to the door. An international Luggage Works bag with side-pockets easily fits so a standard one is clearly no problem. Securing a 1970s American Tourister might be a bit of a challenge but still should work.

It's a great airplane but there was a lot of Tim Hortons and Poutine spilled on the "clean sheet" design in Mirabel. Reliability has improved a ton but there are still learning curves with each new station that opens to it. However, as we come into the winter months, de-icing is a dream if you have spent any time on an -88 or 717. No leaky windows so your aren't transporting 4 gallons of Clariant Safe Wing MPIV Launch in the QRH bin.

Good luck! You will enjoy it!

Give it time. The overhead hatch will leak eventually. At least I vaguely remember it did on the older RJs. Someone correct me if I’m wrong.

Just don't be one of those that's worried because he "hasn't flown an Airbus before."

Only if that captain is a boob. Luggage goes behind the FO. Whoever gets to the plane first puts their luggage all the way in. That way, if the FO gets there after the captain, they don't have to lift their bag over the captains.

The FO should never get there after the Captain, just saying. 🤣
