Our price for the A220 was based on flying them “like an RJ”. If we exceed an average distance per leg, we pay a higher price for the plane......or something like that.

I think the terms have changed. I’ve read our leaders commented that there is no “1000mile” limitation, be it average or whatever.

Yeah plus all they have to do even if that's still a thing is put it on Shuttle and other relevant short haul routes (a fraction of the ATL-SAV/CHA/CHS/GSP/JAX/BHM/HSV/MOB/TLH/etc runs) and the same in other hubs and the 1000 mile average would be quickly and easilly managed all while using most of the fleet on whatever routes they wanted.

It was never going to be an exclusive or even mostly "long and thin" transcon plane anyway.

As already mentioned, the limit is gone. I forget what triggered it, but it's been stated that the limit is no more.

It was probably fake news for the lawsuit.

Default Out on a limb

[QUOTE=Trip7;2787143]11,200

Going out on a limb here, low 13k. Just not seeing the trip mix and commutible options bringing in the relatively senior FOs. Can't wait for the annual bid to close👍
