Why was she told to change seats? I have to admit as a HVC to DAL I go to great lengths researching/shopping flights for specific seat availability (and airplane). It is annoying when you've picked and payed extra for a particular seat and then you're asked to move, especially for a non-rev or someone upgraded.

If I have to be booked in coach by my company and my medallion status automatically upgrades me to an economy comfort middle or window seat, I usually call DAL agents and ask to be moved back to my original aisle coach seat if possible. Many times they will not do it.

I have made comments and suggestions to DAL about giving you more choices for your medallion upgrades -- for example a selection like don't upgrade me for a First/Business bulkhead non-layflat seat. Or don't upgrade me for an economy comfort middle or window seat.

I don't like Ann Coulter but I think DAL went after her because of her high public unfavorable numbers. Had it been some other famous person, Delta would have never come swinging back on Twitter.

She had a seat in Economy (tough times in the fear-and-hatred mongering business nowadays, I guess.) She purchased a Comfort Plus upgrade at the airport. Then she realized it was a middle seat and tried to get her window seat back but it had already been reassigned. A rant against Delta and their "union employees" (even though not a single union employee had anything to do with this) ensued.

Great points. But she went ape dodo about moving 3 seats over. Right? Do you? What ever happened to a little civility when you are slightly inconvenienced. All this stuff is over the top and it's funny. Most of our forefathers came here in wooden ships. Don't get your way and you insult 80,000 employees, fly JetBlue Ms.C.

Delta may have been "wrong" from a CS perspective, but Coulter's petulant social media fit (insulting employees, posting photos of passengers) more fitting a teenager than a grown woman causes any valid point she'd make to get lost in the noise.

She's intelligent enough to make her point and draw attention to the issue without coming across as a, well, emotional snowflake.

But I guess she didn't make them drag her out of the seat...

Let me see if I got this right... a paying passenger reserves a specific extra legroom seat due to height, then that paying passenger gets told to move and get crammed into a small seat, and somehow it's that passenger's fault for throwing a fit about it?

Here's another question... how many of you have suffered or had a loved one suffer or worse, die as a result of blood clots/DVT?

So she criticizes an airline and its employees using the most vile terms and you're "with her" anyway because she "****es off" "libs." (Its more amusement mixed with shame to be honest.)

You're going with that?

She has no fear of their bullying and ridicule and her books are always a right hook to liberal "thought".
