Aaaah. Like I said. Public school. I'll be one of them.

To put those numbers in perspective system wide we lose 2200 pilots between now and 31 Dec 2021. I don't know the total number of pilots in those bases but at a glance it looks like they have fewer retirements than the system wide average.

Frankly, the quantity doesn't matter as much as the percentage of category...if one cares about seniority progression.

That was our situation over 3 years ago. We moved to Minnesota and then, after a year, needed somewhere else based on cost of living, seniority, and climate. Took us a year to unload the house.

So, after 2 years up there, we moved to ATL. Lower cost of living, much better seniority, excellent no-revving from ATL, and we ate Thanksgiving & Christmas dinner on our back porch. Everyone is much happier.

My point is to keep your options open as you prepare to make such a big decision. We had an "MSP only" mindset which kept us from doing our homework. It was ultimately the wrong decision for us...and a very expensive one at that.

It might be part of the normal DCI shuffle, but Endeavor is mostly starting to pull out of MSP.

A good chance that it is because we are moving in with the 717. Of course it is from different bases as of now. I sure hope a 717 base opens soon. I will be ok losing overnights at home and getting to drive to work.

Do you recall what month they published the newsletter? Haven't seen that specific timeframe before.
