In a "someone ought to..." moment, I thought I'd try and start a new thread just for drops. Might make it easier for those interested to get the latest.

So- if you are in today’s class, or know of someone that is, what were the available aircraft and bases. Also, what order did they the bid go?

They need to figure out a way to make aircraft selection be a bit more fair and randomly based on SSN. This is unfair to the 50 something dude who gets NYC when the 26 year olds get LAX.

I thought it was on purpose seeing as how this thread already exists. Made me chuckle.

I agree with the OP that it needs to be restarted. So many thread drifts that it’s lost its purpose, IMHO.

The new thread should be about age discrimination since it's such a heated topic. Drop thread was fine.

The 50 yr old most likely is retired military. Are you saying that was a bad life choice.

I love when people say “it’s not FAIR”. Welcome to life, **** ain’t fair. As soon as I hear that argument I assume you are Whinner so I shake my head and walk away.

As a retired military guy myself, I’d say “Quite possibly.” I’ll tell you when I’m 65.

Fair's got nothing to do with it.

As you can see threads will drift regardless of efforts to the contrary. One class drop thread is enough. Thread closed.
