I can't stand being in Delta One without having a nice glass of wine, particularly on an international flight. But I don't fly for Delta, so I don't have to adhere to their crew rules. Bummer a small number of people cause everyone to get punished.

They actually don't. The company chooses to use that logic, though... and too many pilots are willing to accept it.
How many millions of hours of alcohol-permitted dead heading have Delta pilots completed without incident? Is there really a measurable risk to our business model?
