I just spent $4k upgrading a wood cruise to a metal climb prop on my J-3 Cub..... don’t think I’d want to mess around playing that game.

I feel like I probably know you from somewhere. Friend just got a J3 85. But the generator, battery, radio, and starter give it the performance of a 40hp J3. Did you ever climb out of ground effect with the cruise prop? I'm too heavy...despite learning in a J4
