...so are you somehow "deducting" the parking as an expense?

Pray tell how!

No I'm not. But the Wage Works card is loaded with pretax money, just like a 401k (!). It even shows up on your pay statement. Therefore it is reducing my taxable income, even if just a little bit. That's why at $6.50 a day, plus the fact that the finds loaded on my wage works card are pretax, I'm guessing I'm paying about $5/day after everything is sorted out. It really means very little but hey why not?

Landside is an excellent choice, I parked there for quite a while. After the parking lot change/buffoonery finally settled out LS seemed a lot smaller, buses more crowded. Still, infinitely better than airside.

That said, once I tried Fastpark it was no comparison. I save 20 minutes each way. Currently, 40 minutes per trip and the peacefulness of the experience are worth the money. Your mileage may vary.

Using pretax dollars, with 8th day free, by my math it's more like $4/day.

I wish the employee lot just dropped off and picked up at kcm. And the bus didn't leave til one was behind it and no standing in the aisles.

We’re prob coming to that... the redesign of the lot has made it so incredibly inefficient. On snow day, I had to wait 45 minute just for a bus to show up, then it takes another 20 to make it to the terminal.

Has anybody done FastPark lately? I did last week for the first time, and 2 days 2 hours 16 minutes cost $23.84. Still a good price for covered parking, but a little more than the $6.50/day I was expecting.
Wondering if rates went up for spring break, up in general, or if unlisted taxes account for it. The receipt I got was not itemized, and I was in too big of a hurry to ask for an explanation that night.
Will check with them tomorrow for my next trip, but wanted to askabout y’all’s ‘sperience too.

Went from 6.50 to.....9.52 I think. If you check perks it lists the new price. I was po'ed enough that I wrote their marketing guy, unannounced 37 percent rate hike being a bit much.

He wrote back and laid it out their decision making. I will summerize his answer that we had a really good deal but eventually the market talks. We now get 15% off standard rate which is the largest discount they give anyone.

Thanks, Sputnik.

Peachy is on wrong side of airport for those of us too lazy/safety-minded/impatient/etc to swing around the south side of 285.

For what it’s worth, back in the day, Park-N-Ticket on Camp Creek was $6/day uncovered during the week, $5 on weekend. Might still be the case. They’re not on Deltaperks, so ask the person at the checkout booth.
