Jumpseating AMS stateside April
 

Let me start out by saying that I’ve never jumpseated on another airline in my career lol.
What would be the chances of jumpseating from AMS to say JFK second week of April?
Any weekdays better then others?
Uniform required or business casual?
Any info appreciated.

Download the ALPA app. It has a thorough jumpseat guide. The main thing for int’l jumpseat is paying the taxes at the counter before you go through security.

Are you a DL pilot? Because if you're not you would have to ride in the cabin. At that point you're just a SBY pax. Uniform is not needed, business casual always recommended.
When you get to Schiphol airport go to KLM check in desk. Tell them you want to Jump on DL flt and give them this phone number to call: 06-12179317. This is the DL employee desk at AMS airport. They will need credit card info to pay for dept. taxes. KLM desk should give you a boarding pass to get to gate for JS check in.
If you're a DL pilot make sure you list ahead of time to make this process a lot easier.Most DL flts out of AMS run full but we have so many of them you should be able to get out on one of them.
