Spirit award travel question
 

Does anyone know if, and our how we can upgrade our spirit award travel seats from main cabin to comfort plus or even delta one? Taking wife to Italy in the summer and not sure whether this is something available to us. We had to pick our seats in main cabin, would be nice considering it's our 20th anniversary. If so do we call someone or wait till check-in to ask. Thanks gang.

When you checkin for your flight, you are offered an opportunity to standby for upgrade. You will be on the upgrade list after the revenue pax but before all non-revs according to the time stamp of when you checked in, so in other words, checkin at 23:59 prior to departure the next day.

At check in you can request an upgrade on the screen. I believe it's "PSUP" level, space available, on the priority list. The spirit pass is not able to be "confirmed" first class, even for a fee.

Have fun, took my family there last month. We're at 20 as well although I wasn't clever enough to call it our anniversary gift!
