What I do have is a passion to see this industry continue with its turnaround. Both from a labor perspective as well as an overall company perspective. This job is amazing. We operate as an efficient machine right now.

See the post I quoted above. If ERflyer’s simple yet accurate comment doesn’t sink in with you I do not know what to tell you captain sir.
Definitely a chip. On shoulder. Yours.

It's really a shame too, because I would trade places with you in a NY second. Maybe I am misreading your posts, but if you are as miserable as you come across here, it will be a long bitter career. Hopefully you will never know what it is really like to be in an industry that is really trying to **** you at every turn.

Have a nice day.

I wrote my reps imploring them to take it down.

It's a concessionary item that is already past its negotiated expiration date, plus there are too many threats with it down range. I'd rather kill it now (actually months ago).

Billions of dollars of stock buy backs, millions of dollars in purple uniforms. And they need us to give them a virtual base. Wake up. Let them open a base.

Virtual bases wasn't anything WE wanted. Too many union guys want to be the next Lee Moak, a union superstar. Write your reps and pull it down. Poor Delta can afford to open a base in MCO without our help.

Not that I’m for or against VBs, but the idea that a profitable company shouldn’t look to improve its cost structure is ignorant as hell. Delta never said they “need” VBs. You argue a mean strawman, though.

I would venture there's not a single pilot at Delta who doesn't want the company to be profitable; but other than a few self-identifying exceptions, not at the expense of pilot QoL or compensation. VB will likely have some positive effect on the bottom line at DAL. I am very against VB; however, every man has his price. It's a trial right now which gives us leverage, we give the company a free taste and if they don't like it then it can die a peaceful death (my highly preferred option), but if they want some more crack then let's not roll over for $.05/hour per diem...

And GD it, I'm the SF of pasting .gifs. Any millennials around to unfornicate this mess?

Well, the award is posted. What's everyone think?

Or will it be more telling when the bid packet comes out for June?

So if I count correctly they didn’t fill all the posted positions. Couldn’t get 30 bidders per seat? Maybe this thing kills itself.
