How is it that you are in the majority now?
Should we make concessions on C2019 to make gains?
Will we not get one more penny if we vote no?

I agree we need rational actors LeineLodge. As to the very public, and out there for all to digest remarks made by KO on various social media sites...rational actor, most logical people, would agree that person isn't.

I freely admit that TA2 was superior in almost every way to TA1. I’m not sure what you’re attempting with your discredit campaign, but I believe the Delta pilots are smart and responsible enough to see through your BS.
No we don’t need to make concessions in C2019, but if you refuse to comprehend that negotiations are a 2 way street then I personally don’t think you should be within a mile of negotiations.
A current example would be finding a win-win for us and the company. The current SIL debate on the MEC presents an opportunity to find a solution that works for the pilot group while allowing the company to run the SILs.
If the MEC can get something acceptable (maybe teeth in RCC language for example) for us, I would not consider it a concession. You probably would, and you would probably end up getting us nothing.
Ultimately the pilots, not us, will decide which philosophy yields the results they desire.

Ben Stout, for example, has been equally unpleasant for years; most recently making inappropriate comments towards the C44 Roar editor on the FB threads. He is angry and unfit for the office.
I’d place Johnson in the same company. I haven’t seen enough of the others to comment.
My rational actors comment was a plea (hope?) for some new blood, untainted by all of the historical, political ****ing matches.

KO is a sad, angry man who is anything but rational. He posted on here heavily selling TA1 and uses the Curly method of hurling insults at those who disagree. And not just any insults... serious accusations of adultery and cheering on the death of a Delta pilot. That man would be poison in office.

I admitted my mistake with TA1. Both TA1 and the current MEC Majority represent the two extremes.
IMO the quicker we get back to the philosophy of the previous administration that brought the two greatest contracts in airline history, C2K and TA2, the better off the pilot group will be.

Fair enough, as long as we are willing to look at all candidates under the same critical eye.
Ben Stout, for example, has been equally unpleasant for years; most recently making inappropriate comments towards the C44 Roar editor on the FB threads. He is angry and unfit for the office.

I think what was more inappropriate is how the editor places disclaimers everywhere in an opinion piece he doesn't agree with then not a single one on an opinion piece he agrees with. He should have resigned after he proved he can't be an unbiased editor.

Jimmy Johnson? Are you serious? The guy got recalled for crying out loud. And for good reason. When it came time to vote on TA2 he voted in favor and after everyone voted says “oh wait, was that vote for the TA?” And then says he meant to vote no for that. The most important vote he would cast during his term and he didn’t even know what he was voting for?? Unacceptable. Plus the fact that he voted no to not even let the pilots decide if it was good enough (which we know by the 82% in favor it was). Did you guys read the first email he sent announcing his intention to run again? Chock full of spelling and grammatical errors. He doesn’t need to be a Rhodes Scholar, but complete lack of attention to detail is concerning.
