Default Offline jumpseat from STT?

I will be flying a turn to STT from IAD this Thursday with the return leg being a DH. I would prefer to deviate from that DH and fly directly home to ATL on Delta. I know that STT is a US Virgin Island so I assume there are no limitations to riding in the cockpit jumpseat. Can somebody on here confirm that?

Also, is the Delta jumpseat included in the basic operating weight of the aircraft? Or can an offline jumpseater be denied boarding for weight restrictions?

If you’re a DL pilot, then you can ride the JS regardless of the origin/destination. And you are included in the BOW, so you can’t be left behind.

OAL jumpseats are unfortunately not included in BOW and can be bumped if payload optimized I'm pretty certain

I thought I had heard that offline jumpseaters could be denied for weight issues so thanks for the verification. It’s a full flight going back to ATL that day so it looks like I’ll be taking my DH.

Offline can be denied for weight, but that doesn't mean it happens all the time either. Denying offline jumpseaters for weight is pretty standard through the industry.

It doesn't happen often, but feel bad when it happens.
