Perhaps if the GT drivers didn't always know the myriad ways to ALWAYS be in the wrong lane, take the longest "shortcut", or just drive in a manner that would cause my head to explode every ride.......

I'd probably have to be locked up if I had to drive in NYC everyday!

Actually, it's not just GT....The 5Star drivers in LA sure know how to drive slow in the fast lane......

The SkyHop Global drivers know every back road on the (what should be a) 5 minute ride to the FLL hotels, not to mention, NONE of them speak English and .....

The Blue (man) Group in TPA will carpool 3 crews with pickup times differing by 15 minutes on a daily basis!

Shoot! Now I need a beer!

Add the ATL nascar van drivers to the 'gonna-die-gonna-die-gonna-die' drivers. Did you know their vans have an alarm that goes off at 85mph?

85 is where the speeding fine jumps to “super speeder.”

I was leaving the parking lot a couple weeks ago, and there had been a multiple flip accident where a car ended up with a perfect flat landing rotated 90 degrees off the direction of travel. Unfortunately, one of the occupants left the vehicle early and was laying deceased in the middle of the interstate. (Cops had just covered her)

Never wear your seatbelt! You could be trapped in the car!

As an aside to the above I am amazed at how few crew members wear seatbelts in the van.

Technically, in many instances, not wearing your seatbelt IS the fastest way out of the car....

True, I have seen it several times. They don’t look that good after the car rolls over them however.

One of my side things is volunteer Fire/EMS. We had one rollover with a teen driver who rolled while going off the road and through a ditch. She started to come out the driver's window but as she did the car was rolling down on that side so it came down around her and kept her inside the vehicle. It actually stopped rolling with her halfway out of that window with the car upside down, one more 1/4 or more rotation and she'd have been crushed. As it was she ended up declining medical treatment with just some minor cuts and scrapes that we could find where she contacted the gravel when she was starting to come out. Incredibly lucky and I hope she wears a seatbelt now.

We did strongly encourage the family (they were there shortly after we were) to still take her to the hospital to get checked out; we cannot force someone to go for an ambulance ride except in very specific circumstances which generally involve a lack of being able to consent or not.

I just did they “mid” and I don’t like it. I would way rather have just stayed at the short layover hotel.

Which one? Aren’t there 3? One for each NYC airport.

Three short, two mid and one long. JFK & LGA share the Long Island City hotel for the mid.
