Airport Inn, 5 minutes east side of SLC. The crew rate is 45$, not always available during busy periods but is the first call for DL and SKW commuters. Restaurant/Bar onsight with free breakfast coupon included.

Any ideas for SEA? Got reserve for first time (in this category) next month might need a few nights there.

It's been a few years, but Hotwire and Priceline seemed to produce good results for SEA airport hotels.

Quality Inn On 99/ Intl. Blvd. near Alaska Airlines sims, about one mile south of KSEA. No restaurant, but there's an Indigenous People's Casino across the street. It's just "ok" with a welcoming, pleasant attitude toward self-funded crew. Very basic free breakfast with reliable shuttle on a 30 minute schedule. Always willing to cancel with no penalty if you tell your sad story of irop, bad commute, or whatever. Late check out and early check in are usually granted without cost.

It's been a while ... used to be $45, usually available if you call after PBS results are posted, and usually short notice outside of the summer months.

Bottom line, you'd be calling the hotel committee to complain if Delta put you there, but for the $$, it meets most pilot's personal standards for the purpose.

I have a crash pad available if you'd rather do that. Real nice place, and train to/from. Plus a crash pad car available.
