"Merry Christmas"
A quick question from a newbie bored out of his mind in a crashpad:
Do we get any guidance on saying "Happy Holidays" vs "Merry Christmas (or whatever your flavor)" while we say goodbye to the folks? I'm hoping there isn't but it seems everyone is so sensitive these days... |

Happy Christmakwanzakah! Or is is merry?

I personally say Happy Holidays. If they reply with a specific holiday I just parrot it back. There is no guidance that I am aware of.

I always say Merry Christmas. Jesus is not a 4 letter word. Flame away:)
So I just say Merry Christmas, as is my custom. If Delta tells me to say something else, I will do it, because this job is just too good. Merry Christmas! |

I think you're doing it wrong. It's happy ramachaunakwanzmas. That way, only the atheists are offended. As for me, I say, "Merry Christmas." I don't even make an exception. |
I’m a “Merry Christmas” guy.
Then again I also still say “ma’am,” which apparently is on its way to becoming a capital offense these days. |
All you have to do is answer in kind.
