X-day and Recency

If one is scheduled for landings recency on a reserve day, can you do an x-day swap to put an x-day onto the day that the recency sim was already placed on? (Assuming I do this action more than 72 hours prior to the affected day).

I know the pros/cons for doing this action, I’m just not sure if the system will allow it. I know that it will allow you to place a reserve day onto a scheduled 30-hour rest that covers an x-day, so the system does appear to occasionally allow some “unique” techniques.

They specifically try and schedule recency on reserve oncall days. They can pay you less than on an X day...

I have no idea, I am just wondering what would be the benefit of doing this? Besides probably an extra 2hrs.

An extra 2:24 of pay. And the x-day swap can possibly put me I n a more advantageous x-day grouping for my remaining on-call days. So the extra money doesn’t come at the expense of my QoL.

Makes sense, let us know if it works.

Didn't work. PCS wouldn't even allow me to save the swap entry.

Bummer. Since I'm on RES I get my line checks hard scheduled. Of course they're always hard scheduled on a day where I've got virtually zero chance of being used as a RES, pretty annoying.
