... used to back to back red eye the ATL-Manaus Brazil. At first you hoped you would not get either form of hemorrhagic fever that was going around, or the much easier Yellow Fever, Zitka or Malaria. After two years of being the plug on that thing, I was kinda thinking, maybe Dengue isn't that bad.

Did a 28'ish hour duty day (now RAP) on a 0500 short call. "No Whitlow," they told me. After that, I was and will forever will be a different kind of employee. That, and FAR 117 addressed the worst of aviation's international reserve shenanigans.

I’d bet a lot of them go to the 717. It’s a short school and they get to stay in ATL. Some commuters probably on the lower end will choose to commute somewhere else but I’d guess the majority are looking for something to keep them in ATL. 717A goes around 9200

I don't miss consecutive 24hr shortcalls. 72hrs on SC was my personal record.

I’m betting it goes to 10,500. Maybe more junior than that.

I agree with this. For M88As it's a pretty sizable paycut unless you get a significant boost in seniority percentage. Also the trips on the 717 are primed to get significantly worse. For the most part I think most that come over to the 717 will be a few displacements that can't hold Captain anywhere else but NYC717

Any guesses on how junior the 320 A in LAX will go?

Default MSP backfill

I read that they will not backfill MSP 320/737 FO positions but I didn’t see anything about captain positions. Does this mean that they will backfill those?

You'll never hear their callsign on the radio the same. You're welcome.
