(1) Why would they want to bypass a pilot who has 36 months left; and
(2) If they bypass to a 1-23 month pilot, they have to comply with the 2.E.13.b exception which means all pilots with less time left than the "youngest" (1-23 month) bypass that are in the same awarded category and require the same training also need to be bypassed.
Just reading the contract, not CR's interpretation of it. Almost tempted to go on SkyHub to see what they said. 🤔

Way back, you used to be able to go "My Schedule" --> "OK" --> "Display Spot Period on Schedule" (pick a date this month) and then, at the top, you had your current category and, if awarded something, it would show up in "Secondary Cat."

How many pilots just tried this?

They could but:

They could train the 62 year old, train the 63 year old and bypass the 64 year old regardless of seniority. I just don't see how a 62 year old requesting a bypass would tie their hands on offering a bypass to a 64 year old if seniority isn't a factor. Isn't the purpose of a training bypass to save the training costs on a late career pilot who upgrades? Bypassing the 64 year olds seems to make sense.
