Delta Pilots vs. ATC
 

Just a quick note to the two DAL pilots who told some ATC controllers that were passing out "Government Shutdown" literature in ATL last that "You Controllers will get paid after Trump gets us the wall".

This was told to me by a couple of ATC guys in ATL. Apparently this has spread like "wildfire" across the entire FAA in ATL...and the controllers are ****ed. Remember these are the guys that can make our lives miserable if they want to right?

Regardless of your political leanings...how about excising some self-control and/or some empathy. When in uniform you represent Delta Air Lines and the entire pilot group.

How about you man-up and speak directly to the offending pilots instead of putting your tail between your legs and whining on an anonymous forum?

You know what they say when you assume? I WASN'T present during this interaction! It was told to me by some ATC neighbors. I have added that in my original post so no other shoot-from-the-hip knuckle-head posts what you did.

Taking the emotional and political aspects out of the discussion, anyone standing in public distributing literature or advocating for a position, are free and fair game for rebuttal or differing exchange of opinions. Nobody seems to believe this anymore, and we are all supposed to believe everything is a one-way street of information and ideas.

Not trying to take any sides on the discussion, just trying to point out the flawed “moral superiority” logic that pervades when these controversial topics emerge.

To the OP, does this completely undo the good acts many Delta pilots are doing for controllers?

You can say anything to anyone you want when you are in your "civvies", when you are wearing the Delta uniform um...no.

Well hopefully the ATC guys will realize that for each "wingnut" out and about, there are 10 DAL guys bringing Pizza and lunch to them.

Ok, I tell you what...just contact any ATL controller and ask them (right from the source). That should clear up any questions about the validity of my post.
