I do know someone who called Delta to complain about the big cut in his profit sharing to be calmly told he was looking at the 15 Feb check not 14 Feb.

Profit sharing was 15.1% last year and 14% this year. Without a lot more information it’s hard to tell. Did you change withholding, what were your actual earnings, did you change your 401k contribution ect... My check was slightly higher but my earnings were more offsetting the cut.

Pull your 31 Dec pay check. Add the flight advance and flight pay yearly totals together. 14% of that should be your PS. You might have to pull the flt pay number off your 15 dec check.

Have pickup trucks increased in price?
Did you change your 401k allocation percentage from last year?
Did you contribute more to an HSA compared to last year?
Did you perhaps turn 50 and were eligible for "catch up" 401k contributions?
All these and many more need to be taken into account when figuring out why your actual deposited amount was what it was.
