Default Alitalia

How is this deal going to work, will Delta just throw money at them or will Delta have operational control over Alitalias wide body fleet, schedule and destinations?

Do you have some news the rest of us don’t? Last I heard the entire deal had fallen apart.

IMO, if Delta invests in Alitalia at this point...........it will become an albatross.....

We will know by the end of the month but I’m not sure we want to partner with the Italian National train operator. They have issues of their own and would love to move their rail losses of the books and have the airline absorbing the bad press and make the eligible for an EU bail out (Italian government by proxy) but it looks like the EU has some foresight on that.
