March 2020 would still lock them, but putting them 23 months apart is not an accident.

People going in May have already had notice of their training slots which were pre-posted for May PBS bidding purposes (at least in several categories).

They could still send more if they need to. They only have to give you a 15 day notice per the contract to send you to training. I have no idea though.....just what I heard.

The 2018 MOAB was July. It had a conversion window of 1Aug18 to 2Jul19. The April 2018 AE was a lot smaller.

Bet on this time next year for anything meaningful. You may see a couple smaller AEs between now and then. If the category went junior on the MOAB, any vacancies on subsequent smaller AEs probably get filled above 75% as pilots dogpile on top of the bottom of the list. I have a "friend" who experienced the dogpile phenomenon on two previoux MOABs.
You guys have a lot of “friends”. I’m jealous.

Yup....15 days prior for AE/VD training and 25 days for MD.

My point is/was that the long-awaited posting is not notice (has no actual dates on it, just months) but more of a "gee-whiz" product to give you an idea roughly when you might train and/or convert. Once published, it is about as firm as warm Jello.

The only people this won’t affect is people upgrading for the first time, for anyone else like someone wanting to switch to international, it sucks

Yes they have a plan and they will follow through on it. But we are in a contract negotiation so it can be changed.....

Does anyone know if any of the 220 guys actually made it into training inn April? Wasn't that the "main reason" it was moved up so early?

I had one once but he ghosted on me after DM-ing me a couple times.

Maybe I should give that Skyhub thing a try.
