nonrev ATL-ICN
Hello everyone,
I am planning to nonrev to ICN from ATL .
1) Is the flight payload optimized either way or can I trust that I will get on the flight as long as there is an open seat?
2) If our flight is full, is it reasonable to use the other direct operated by KAL as a plan B?
Any other tips are welcome.
Thanks in advance.

Just be flexible. Look at airport listing the day before. Do consider ICN to DTW, MSP, SEA as backup. Delta One always full. Premium Y is very nice too. ATL DTW is on A350. MSP on 777, SEA on 767. KAL is always full to ATL. Enjoy

Just last week I talked to the gate agent working the ATL-ICN flight and he mentioned the A350 normally leaves with seats open due to payload optimization. He said, “We’ve gotten less than a hundred non-revs on the A350 in an entire year.”
Consider the source but that’s what he said.
