Take the above based on its low, low price of free.
Bold statement that we might order more Airbii!

I’d bet my 401k that it’s more of the 220 variety

Personally, I don’t mind riding in the back of one, if it’s not a hot summer day. They’re quiet, and ride pretty nice. I’m always comfortable in back as long as it’s not the last few rows, which is what I usually get as a non rev...a middle seat in the last row or two.

You’re probably right. The MD-88 flying can be covered by a mix of 319-320 flying. We have 100 321Neo’s that start coming next year. What we need is a replacement for the 717 that (probably) goes away in 4-6 years(??). A mix of A220 100’s and 300’s will cover that flying. I guess we could use some more of the 130-160 seat aircraft.

Maybe it’ll be some A320 Neo’s with the A220 1’s and 3’s.

150 A-220-500’s as replacements for the 717’s and 319’’s.

I bet we never order 320 NEO’s.

That’s possible too. Are they talking about parking the 319’s? I know of several older A320’s I’d like to see parked first.

No, but if Airbus does build a 220-500 (which sounds like the plan) it will be a perfect 319 replacement. It’s almost a given that the 717 replacement will be the 220. And yes.....some of those old 320’s have seen better days.

Agreed, just because they were suing each other last year doesn’t mean that they can’t get a sweetheart deal together and make up.
