You’re not a very happy person, are you? I spent 16 years in the right seat of 5 different fleets before I upgraded, and I don’t think I ever flew with a Captain as miserable as the ones you’re describing. In 16 years (minus 3 on furlough) I flew with 2 or 3 that I didn’t really want to fly with again. Maybe it’s your attitude, and not the Captains you’re flying with.

If you work in certain airlines. But at Delta, American and United.... just to name a few, Captain’s authority still means a lot and carries significant weight. Now if you are some snowflake trying to start a wizzing match then go elsewhere. If you are a disgruntled First Officer looking at a loooong upgrade somewhere and think you deserve it now... I can’t help you or your ego. Part of professionalism is knowing your part and the discipline that goes along with it. While you point out that there are some bad Captains, I’d also point out that those bad Captains were most likely bad First Officers.

And after reading your previous post it’s plainly clear that you are the one in need of being reported.
You know what a chief pilot told me once? People with no fly lists end up on people’s no fly lists. In other words, take a hard look in the mirror.
