Wait, there isn't a court martial here?! Oh man, let me put on my shocked face.

In other news, it is only near unanimous with those who disagree. And only near at that.
I should be honored you respect my statement as much as you respect those you work with.

You’re shocked I gave a garbage reply to your garbage statement? I’m done, sir/ma’am. You can continue to wander down that back alley you find yourself in.

Checklistmonkey what your preaching is communism, where everyone is equal in the proletariat.
No one is in charge,

ChecklistMonkey, you don’t have to respect the person, but you better respect the position....cause eventually that crap will catch up with you and you may find your employment is on the line.

Hold to your principals yada yada yada, but when push comes to shove you may need that person in the left seat, here is to hoping they got your back because you showed them some respect and reconsidered your opinion.

Now this has to be a sarcastic post. How did we get from "captains aren't gods and not even necessarily the most experienced in the fight deck" to "BEWARE THE COMMIES!". The Red wave is coming to get you my friend. The irony? I'm so afraid of communism and their thought police so I'm going to go ahead and police your non-conformist thoughts...comrade

I had it explained to me by an 85 yr. old FAA Doc. in Eastpoint. I was worried about my eyes. He said; "They already have a pilot. You are there to keep an eye on the property."

The understanding of fly standard, and don’t kill me or violate me and I won’t need to step in ever and play “god.” The others, well, 4 days never ends fast enough. Who cares what the outside views of the position are?
Well the Capt gets credit for bidding wth such a competent FO.

Some one has to be in charge, I hope you have a good career and change your mind set about the position of Captain, which ever side of the throttles you reside for the remainder of your career....however short or long it be.
A word to the wise...be careful about what you sow... you may need some proactive leadership in your corner at some point when or if you ( like myself frequently ) make a mistake. Remember it’s a team effort,... Burning bridges and all comrade.

Peace out.

Most mgmt contracts come with 25 year longevity credit and pension vesting.

Like i said...mgmt can do watever they want. Wats important is to realize they are never on 'our' side.

No, not a real Captain, but he did drink a lot of Captain Morgan Rum. So maybe he did earn that title - although Checklist Monkey might argue that point.
