Isn’t Huffington Post the British National Inquirer?

When I was on the ER, I was on a 3 day in Paris. When I woke up to get ready to fly back to JFK, I was informed by the Captain that our aircraft had returned to BOS right before track entry. The ETOPS sign off hadn’t been legal. (It’s a long story). Three of the five FA’s were BOS commuters and when they landed for the proper ETOPS sign off, the three BOS commuter FA’s claimed fatigue and walked off the aircraft so the flight cancelled and we got an all expenses paid extra day in Paris. I was on a green slip so I wasn’t upset at all.

I don’t know why I mentioned this. I guess ops has this happen often enough, they do what they can to avoid the opportunity.

In the olden days, you just pulled away the steps, which I'm sure the BOS girls remember.

Sounds like the union leaked to the Press, though nobody reads HuffPo.

Interesting note in icrew... someone ended up with a new hire meeting at the end of that trip.

What union? The FAs don't have one.

If the owner of a company locked his employees in the factory/shop/store to force them to work he’d go to jail. I think there was a better solution given it seems the fas were willing to work the flight, if of course this is the real story.

Ummmm when the pilots say pull the jetbridge up and open the door, they will open the door. Problem solved.
