That's fine, just be sure and include the "locals" who sit in fumes and bang over potholes in their 3-5 hour "drives".

Also, no working out or raising kids in the 8 hours prior to a flight.

Well....the technology exists to enforce-monitor it.

When 117 showed up, from what I remember, there was speculation of this coming across the table. I do not think will see any change, this type of thing has already been discussed. Can you imagine the changes to ones life such a law would create?

Can you imagine the changes to the airline industry period. Talk about training cycles when everyone bids to the base closest to their house versus where they get the most bang out of their seniority. We have a ton of guys/gals in NYC that actually live in a base but make the decision to commute to enjoy more seniority.

LOL exactly. If you have nothing to hide you have nothing to fear. They should also have a "fusion center" where they collate all potential contributing factors. Own a business? That's a risk factor. Any family member or friend going through a serious medical, financial, family or other issue? Risk. Google Earth shows you're painting your house in the hot sun for long hours including the day of your report. Risk. Doing coloring books to get points/promotion? Risk. Your favorite sports team in the playoffs/championship? Risk. Your investments not doing well? (Obviously you've disclosed them to the approproate authorities) Risk. Not only do you have to get 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep (not "opportunity" but actual hard REM cycle sleep without a single interruption) in order to legally report...

...actually, that would probably require every airline to hire tens of thousands of additional pilots so maybe they'll throw us into the briar patch after all.

If the facts are known, Dickson will/should have the job. I can't imagine a more qualified person.
