Is this the 74 pilot that called in sick for recency and then would get bought off their 12 day trip and then would bid reserve to the next recency and repeat?

Dont know if that's an urban legend... and honestly dont really care.

I don’t know a single thing about the pilot in question. I will say however in the cases I am aware of where a pilot faced serious disciplinary action or termination what the pilot group hears is the tip of the iceberg. The company can’t however put out those other issues and problems publically. The pilots hear that John Doe is being fired for a missed commute when in fact that might be one of a dozen or more far more serious issues that keep repeating.

Complete and utter meltdown on Chit Chat. Guys are buying AOPA Legal Services because they feel DALPA legal protection isn't enough. Ironically Section 15 of the PWA is what got her job back

Along with the help of an outside attorney after a great deal of her own initiative...initiative and actions that were not advised by ALPA’s legal services, according to her accounting of how the events transpired.

Complete and utter meltdown? Can I get an eye roll emoji?

I've never been to Sh!t Chat for the disturbingly many times I've read "Chit Chat" and "meltdown" in the same sentence.

That said this lady ran for MEC Chair recently. Did anyone read her candidacy letter? She hardly mentioned anyone or anything but herself. I think she had zero desire to run for MEC Chair or anything. She did, however, get a free email sent out to the entire seniority list. Puzzling to put it mildly.

That's for her AIR21 Whistleblower case that she is pursuing. She did not need her own counsel to get reinstated. Section 15 of the PWA did that.

You are correct about that; I was mistaken.
You are not giving any credence to the advice and support—or lack thereof—given to her by ALPA during the Section 15 process or the fact she claims there were multiple violations of the contract during the Section 15 that we’re not contested by the company.

I’m not saying she is 100% right. As crewdawg mentioned earlier, the truth is option C.

Neither the company nor ALPA is infallible. I’m not either.

I once had AOPA legal services and might enroll again one day. Cheap insurance, especially if what she says re. ALPA legal is true. (Again, I’m not saying it is).
But to say that the CC crowd is having a “complete and utter meltdown” or however you worded it because some of them claim to be purchasing legal insurance with their AOPA membership is completely and utterly disingenuous.

She kept popping up on Facebook ranting about Delta, and her thesis for her masters was a safety reporting thing that she wanted to force on the company. She kept sending it to the higher ups saying we do this or else, and boom.

She was sharply told to cut it out to quit hurting her case on Facebook, too. It was fascinating watching someone nearly torpedo themselves over and over.

A safety reporting program? I mean ya'll ain't exactly the dangerous operator of the industry. Delta pretty much leads the industry in aviation safety. So what gives? What kind of program did she want that isn't already (in some shape) in effect?
