Please note, profit sharing does not count in your numbers.
If you remove profit sharing and bonuses from both sides there is a strong chance several A350 Captains around the same or more than Ed:

Edward H. Bastian made $14,982,448 in total compensation. Of this total $891,667 was received as a salary, $2,277,090 was received as a bonus, $3,795,014 was received in stock options, $7,705,118 was awarded as stock and $313,559 came from other types of compensation.

[QUOTE=Trip7;2834536]Running the best airline in the history of the airline business which is getting us some sweet profit sharing checks. They deserve every penny.

And so do we. Major gains across the board and a retirement for all14,000 plus Delta pilots that is not a cruel joke.

Quality of life. Insurance. Pay. Scope. Major gains!

QOL, Health Insurance, Retirement/Retiree Medical, Deadheading, Reroute/117 extension MINIMAL pay increases outside paybanding. I would like to see stock options or 15% Stock purchase plan.

I don’t think our current CEO applied for it, controller originally, I think. We promote from within. He probably uses a professional negotiator.

When i fly with new pilots i suggest to them 'somebody' coming thru the front door today is gona be svp flt ops 25 yrs from now. Or fleet captains...standards..and so on...

But one has to step into the arena and process to make it a possibility.

Well a good part of it is that they sit on others boards who sit on our boards etc so it's not exactly a hostile negotiating environment.
