Default Marine needs help getting direct to DL

Help! I'm a 9E lifer CA who obviously has no idea how to get to DL, so long story short, here goes.

A friend ran into a Marine FW pilot who is looking at getting out and get on directly with DL. I would like to help him bypass the regional stepping stone. The best way I can help him is by not giving any advice.

If anyone on here has a recent history of accomplishing this, please PM me, so I can get the jarhead the help he needs. Since he's a Marine, whoever helps him must be willing to speak in simple terms, with no complicated words consisting of more than one syllable.

There’s no secret, plenty of direct military hires, even marines, myself included!

ATP, 1st class medical, no skeletons, good application (no errors, get it reviewed!), and an internal rec if able.

It seems that the best thing he can do is the Delta CTP-ATP program. He needs to get his civilian ATP regardless and it guarantees an app review.

Advise him that getting his app polished to the level necessary to do well will take 6 months.

That’s crazy, unless you include digitizing your military logbooks which is a huge PITA.
