I’m like JB. The next time the company (CEO) ask me to write my congressmen/women........I think I’ll be on vacation...

At the same, Qatar just bailed out 666 5th Avenue. And there are numerous real estate projects in the middle east on the drawing board. You get the picture.

What does that have to do with our CEO not doing his job? In my mind part of his job is to meet with government regulators to get policy change in our favor....and he was absent for a family vacation. Nope couldn’t send another top man...just didn’t give sh!t enough to send anyone....

So when they ask me to email xyz in support of xyz, I don’t do it anymore. Learned that from the LGA slot swap fiasco...

Someone in a previous post nailed it...Sleepy Ed in his designer tennis shoes is just really in the right spot at the right time, along for the ride...I am hoping he doesn’t screw this place up before he cashes his golden parachute off into the sunset. History will judge the stock buybacks as folly when we are cash starved some day without jet bridge a/c or power and we really need money to make the ends meet.

Yes. The guy who wanted to spend Taxpayer money on buying Greenland is the one you should be defending here..the same guy who ambushed the other CEOs by bringing in Al Baker. Surely that wasnt meant to embarrass them.

They're still trying to blame ME3 changing Trumps America first speeches and Trumps choice to let Al Baker into ME3 damages meeting on Obama. The pres honked us, but the faithful have to blame it on Obama or the email server or else their worlds will tumble down.

What? You lost me.....

I am not talking about our president, I am talking about our CEO not meeting with the president. It would not matter who was president, Red Blue or purple...if there are airline CEO s meeting to influence policy, our CEO should of been there.

That CEO has video clips where he lies, calls his employees liars, then says everyone should be truthful, then says but he can lie better than all of them, in a single clip. He's manic and a compulsive liar. Your gonna sit in a room with that clown, who rewrites trumps speeches, and try to have a fact driven argument about a complex issue to sway the presidents mind? Nothing got done, nothing was going to get done, having everyone there for a photo op as if you're all tickling each others toes is a bizarre reversal of a meeting we pushed for to speak candidly and openly and privately about unfair business practices from state owned enterprises who make regular excuses for their competition in a historical vein of all the bailout money from 9/11 attacks. Attacks which were state funded terrorism from Qatar for one.

*Shrug* president Trump should probably not listen to that guy.

Interesting about wanting to buy Greenland. It is rich in mineral deposits. Twice before, the US wanted to buy it.

In 1867, President Andrew Johnson (D) tried to buy it. They were not successful. They did succeed in buying Alaska (Seward’s Folly).

In 1946, President Harry Truman (D) tried to buy it. They were not successful, either.

Nothing new under the sun. Hmmm...

Plus didn't we buy some islands from them and rename them the US Virgin islands?

Alaska?

Louisiana Purchase?

They lose money carrying it and we pay to defend it (and them) anyway.

Maybe what was really being said was "that's some nice NATO welfare you're bilking us out of for generations so you can spend that money on social welfare programs...be a shame if anything were to happen to it..."

Good examples of things we did nearly 100 years ago or more. How about we concentrate on fixing another territory we own that was obliterated by Hurricanes before we spend billions on another.

Personally, I think Greenland is making Trump look bad by melting so fast. "What? Something I don't control is getting more attention than me? We should definitely spend more money we don't have so that I can control it!" That guy is a moron.
