Makes sense considering Delta mainline MX just took over daily line MX of the Compass E175 operation in Seattle. They are starting to get familiar with the aircraft.

All they have to learn is to reset it or the return to service test after flight control no dispatch

Well we do own the E75's and based on the interiors I see from time to time, Compass ought to be paying us extra. For planes not even 10 years old, the interiors are trashed - like mass transit. Too bad because most comfortable a/c in entire fleet.

In the DL system, Compass interiors are cleaned during the day and on overnights by DL contracted cleaners. If you don't feel their performance is satisfactory, that needs to be addressed through station management.

Trust me, when the planes come out of the hangar and I have multiple pages of cabin work/NEF replacements in the logbook to look through, the interiors look VERY good.

(disclaimer: supervised deep-cleans on several occasions on RON for a now defunct carrier)

Rumor is that there's a TA between Horizon Managment and the pilots to bring back jets to Horizon. If true and if it passes, sounds like the real battle for Seattle will be Horizon 175s Vs. DL 190s. Skywest and Compass pilots are the losers here. And, of course, Alaska pilots will continue to have anemic growth or possibly shrinkage in the next ten years.

"Do they know what shrinkage even is?"

Seriously though, there will still be more than enough work for Compass and Skywest, just not as much on the west coast. It seems daily that the east is suffering rj cancellations due to lack of crews.

SEA just became junior for the pilots. Now try and imagine an RJ staffed with two SEA FAs.

Great news. A new hire can live in an expensive city with no raise until 3rd year with a potential 2 year seat lock. Great deal. New hire pool will empty very quickly.
