I don't care either way but it would be an extremely tough sell explaining to 51% of the pilot group or the employee group in general why we shouldn't get half in October before holidays etc. There may be a very few with circumstantial needs who may benefit from the all in Feb method, but that's got to be very, very few.

We went this last time we split profit sharing too. Some people went crazy because it “messed up” their tax planning. Doesn’t make any difference how many times you explain it to them that it’s a wash.

Not to mention the fact, as you did, that no one cares even if it did. Yes, they might have to adjust withdrawal %’s online and hurt their wrist.

I’ll take it early, got a bunch of near term expenses it would help out with immensely.
