The system should be updated to reflect that then. Tolerating improper listings with the only check and balance is the person trying to list who was wrongfully blocked, figuring out through their own diligent forensics and then having to make sure its fixed is not the solution.

And I don't know how to do it, but we need to put an end to spousebots and reservation hogs taking up fake JS listings they have no intention of using simply because its a theoretical backup, only to cancel it right before so as to not get in trouble. That nonsense just creates a chain reaction of phony JS listings that then causes others to make fake JS listings.

Why are reserves, who don't have any work assignment until the day before they start reserve, allowed to book a JS TO work a day before line holders?

Getting all pilots, regardless of status, to work benefits the company. My point is, it should be a level playing field.

I think that pilots should only be allowed to have one to work JS reservation active per reserve period or rotation. Guys who have a to work for every single reserve day are abusing the system.

I thought there was a pilot memo about a year ago that said both Reserve and REG could book a JS for the day prior, but the 5 1/2 days prior was still based on the day that actual rotation started.

iCrew still allows everyone to book based on day of travel TO work.

I don’t recall any memo on it. Would love to get my hands on it, though.

That’s egregious but I’ve never seen that happen for my commute. Will keep an eye out going forward.

Most of the shenanigans I’ve seen have been going from work.
